Look no further! CHT has a number of volunteer opportunities throughout the year in need of someone just like you. From helping maintain our community garden to assisting in planning an event, you can find an opportunity that matches your interests, skills, and availability.
VeggieRx Driver
We are currently seeking responsible, friendly, and dependable volunteers to support our Veggie Rx program! Volunteers will transport and deliver fresh produce boxes to clients’ homes. Deliveries are no-contact drop-offs, and volunteers must be comfortable using a mobile phone app to complete deliveries.
Deliveries are made in the following counties: Monterey, Santa Cruz & San Benito
Each box weighs approximately 15 lbs.

Community Gardens
See the fruits of your labor grow. Get your hands dirty in our community garden! Clean up, paint, build garden boxes, prepare soil, and more. Volunteer opportunities vary depending on the season and time of year.

El Mercado Farmers' Market
El Mercado is a weekly farmers’ market aiming to decrease food insecurity and improve access to health-promoting resources for Pajaro Valley families. Responsibilities include set up, clean up, surveying guests, community building, and extra hands-on site.

Rally in the Pajaro Valley Softball Tournament Fundraiser
This fun-filled event aims to raise funds and nonprofit awareness. Local nonprofits, agencies, and businesses come together to play for the Championship title. Funds raised during this event go to support local youth activities.
Do you know the rules of softball? Are you available to help set up and clean up on the day of the event? Can you help spread the word?

Community Health Fair
What could be better than an afternoon of fun, music, entertainment, and prizes? Why we’d like to think it would include being able to access local services and resources to help support your health and wellness. Volunteers are needed on the day of the event!

Wine & Roses
CHT’s signature annual event takes place in the fall and features noteworthy local wine and beer, paired with delicious food. Not only is this a friend and fund-raiser for CHT, it’s also a celebration of community and all those who work so hard to enrich it.
Volunteers are always needed to help on the day of the event (must be 21 years or older), and there are opportunities to assist before the event.
