Isabel Contreras

Isabel Contreras is a mixed Indigenous artist who specializes in digital illustration and graphic design. She was born and raised in California and draws the majority of her inspiration from her hometown, her family, and her cultures. Her vibrant and playful artwork explores themes of cultural identity, childhood memories and human connection.

Isabel is also Founder & CEO of Mi Gente CA, an arts and culture organization dedicated to creating cultural programming to inspire underrepresented creatives in spaces where they have been historically underserved. Whether it’s through her art projects, or community organizing, Isabel plans to continue creating spaces for folks to feel seen and celebrated through their passions and talents.
