Born and raised in Watsonville, Stacy began her career in the nonprofit sector in 2017. She has a passion for storytelling, a deep love for her community, and a dedication to promoting the well-being of its members. Stacy received her bachelor’s degree from CSUMB in Human Communication with concentrations in Writing & Rhetoric and Creative Writing & Social Action. While at CSUMB she received the Humanities & Communications Service-Learning award for her commitment to service, social responsibility, and civic action. She has extensive experience serving as a mentor to youth and has helped grow thousands of vegetables and herbs during her time as a nursery worker. Stacy admires the Community Health Trust’s mission of fostering a healthy and equitable community for all and looks forward to contributing her skills to serve the residents in her hometown.
