How Matching Gifts Work
A matching gift is an easy way to make your donation go further! Here’s how it works, step by step:
- You Donate: You make a donation to our nonprofit to support our work in the Pajaro Valley.
- Employer Matches: Many companies will match what you donate—sometimes dollar for dollar, or even more. That means if you give $100, your employer might give another $100, and together you’ve given $200!
- We Benefit: Once your company processes the match, we receive the combined gift, allowing us to do even more for the community.
It’s a simple way to double your impact! Check with your employer to see if they offer a matching gift program, and if you need help, we’re here to assist you through the process.
