El Mercado Farmers' Market
CLOSED FOR THE 2025 SEASON
El Mercado is a weekly farmers’ market aiming to reduce food insecurity and chronic illnesses by promoting access to fresh produce and wellness resources for Pajaro Valley families. Running seasonally from April – October, El Mercado features fresh produce, ready-to-eat foods, and local artisans. El Mercado also offers health-promoting resources like health screenings, vaccine clinics, and community resources in partnership with local nonprofits.
Funding for El Mercado was made possible by the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Agricultural Marketing Service through grant #AM22FMPPCA1141-00. Its contents are solely the responsibility of the authors and do not necessarily represent the official views of the USDA.
El Mercado was originally funded by a grant from the Central California Alliance for Health in 2020.
No cash? No problem! You can use your credit card at the Manager’s Booth to purchase tokens valid at every El Mercado vendor. You can also redeem EBT and WIC!
Our goal is to make shopping at El Mercado as easy as possible because the healthy choice should be the easy choice for everyone.
